Volunteer with Rebels FC and help grow our community
Team Volunteers
Every Rebels FC team is made possible by 100% parent volunteers, enabling us to keep costs low while providing great development and a wonderful experience for the players.
All Rebels FC volunteers must have current, clean background checks and clearances, regardless of how much time has passed since a previous check. See Necessary Clearances.
Head Coach
Responsible for roster decisions, training plans, and game day management of their team.
Assistant Coaches
Help with running practices, coaching games, and stepping in when the head coach is unavailable.
Team Manager
Not a coach, but still want to be involved?
Team managers assist the head coach with scheduling, communication, and the administrative side of soccer.
Each coach and manager can work together to determine how best to share duties.
Team Treasurer
Want to help with the team, but not able to commit to being a Team Manager?
Some teams separate out the treasurer duties, including helping plan the team budget, collecting dues from families, and making payments to leagues and tournaments.
All of our team volunteers are required to maintain clearances, background checks, and player safety training mandated by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association: EPYSA Risk Management
All of our coaches have coaching certifications from the US Soccer Federation.
Club Volunteers
Rebels runs on volunteers. Beyond coaches and managers, there are many ways to be impactful within the organization:

Coordinates any club wide Fundraising and Sponsorship opportunities and aids individual teams with sponsorship and fundraising.

Publishes RFC Newsletter at pre-determined intervals. Works with board members, coaches and parents to pull together relevant material

Compiles requests from Rebels FC teams for referee coverage for home games, batches requests to the EPYSA Referee Scheduler

Manages RFC social media presence including but not limited to the RFC Facebook page, RFC Instagram account, etc

Manages the existing contract for team kits and team store for ordering; coordinates any required kit refresh with vendor, maintains buyer lists of all users for each team including coaches, managers, & players.

Manages the existing RFC website, adds and updates content.
